Are most Christians pro-choice by conviction and pro-life by default?
Steve, I'd say most Christians are pro-life by conviction and pro-choice by default.
To be truly pro-life, in the fullest sense, means to be self-sacrificial, while pro-choice is to be self-focused. And I don't mean in the simplistic sense, but in the completeness of the principles of your life.
To be a pro-choice Christian makes as much sense as St. Peter saying – “No, Lord, don't do that!”
